The Tower

A game made in Game Maker: Studio in about 24 hours. It is a turn-based, grid-based puzzle game in which the player must try to avoid or destroy the enemies in an ever-increasing difficulty in order to get high scores.

It includes two game modes: Normal mode and NonStop mode.

In Normal Mode, the player controls the speed of play, each movement causing everything else to move. This mode is strategy.

In NonStop mode, everything moves in intervals and the player inputs their movements before the next frame of movement. This mode is skill.

There is also a Trail variant for each of these modes in which the player leaves a trail behind them which the enemies can move through but the player can't move or shoot through.
